NovaForm 3D Modelling Systems es una imprenta de diseños tridimensionales ubicada en Seattle.

La base del negocio es bien sencilla: Imprimir en 3D los diseños que traiga el cliente. En cuanto al tamaño, no hay límite pues aunque las máquinas que usan permiten imprimir un tamaño máximo concreto (14 x 18 x 8 pulgadas), los diseños se van imprimiendo por piezas que se ensamblan al final.

El coste depende de cada modelo pues se ve afectado por factores tales como la cantidad de material utilizado y el tiempo empleado. Aceptan preferentemente ficheros en formatos STL y VRML, aunque aceptan asimismo ficheros nativos de muchas aplicaciones como ARCHICAD, ARCHITECTURAL DESKTOP, CHIEF ARCHITECT, CIVIL 3D, FORM Z, REVIT, RHINOCEROS, SKETCHUP y 3D STUDIO.

Adicionalmente, pueden convertir la mayoría de ficheros 2D (Formatos AI, DWG, EDF y PDF, entre otros) a ficheros 3D que puedan ser impresos. Tambien son capaces de convertir a 3D bocetos a mano alzada.
